Julia Cartagena (formerly Pergoliti) is a world-renowned Psychic Medium, an entrepreneur, Soul Coach, Intuitive Energy Healer, Teacher and Motivational Speaker.
Based in Perth Western Australia, Julia has provided readings and coaching for clients all around the world including celebrities, public figures and large organisations. Her mediumship abilities have also helped with missing persons cases and have assisted in providing information for murder cases, crimes and unsolved mysteries surrounding the passing of loved ones.

In 2019 Julia collaborated with other world-based mediums based in the US and began to take readings to the stage in public forums. Julia is also the founder of Chakra Angel established in 2014, and organises large events and gatherings in the wellness and spiritual realm with inspirational speakers, authors and motivators. Through her passion for community and helping others she is now into the 4th year of the Psychic & Wellness Fair in Perth which has attracted thousands of people to the event and is run 2 times per year at Perth’s largest entertainment complex.
Her business Chakra Angel, also includes a wellness centre currently located in the southern suburbs of WA where there is a showroom with spiritual products and gifts. Julia has also collaborated with other industry professionals in the centre to provide services such as readings, healings, meditations, sound healing, training and teaching.
Career Achievements
Julia’s background before her transition into wellness was in her successful former cake decorating business Cupid’s Delight. She was an entrepreneur, teacher, baker, artist and was renowned as Perth’s celebrity cake maker, providing cakes for celebrities such as Medium John Edwards, Richard Branson, Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson, Kelly Rowland, Akon, Sean Paul, Jay Sean, sporting celebrities, major airlines, government, mining and large corporate organisations. She also created cakes for weddings, birthdays and other celebrations. The cakes were a work of art and she and her team worked also in collaboration with some of Perth’s radio stations and media. Julia was the creator of $3 million cake with diamonds and jewels in collaboration with Koro jewellers which featured in news all around the world in over 30 countries.
Her career both in cakes and wellness have derived many achievements and Julia was the 1st person in Australia to create a Baking Expo in 2012 and included an Australian Tour with Cake Boss Buddy Valastro from USA touring Perth and Sydney with live shows held with over 3,500 people per show. Julia also hosted a charity dinner raising money for the Make a Wish Foundation and was invited to MasterChef with Buddy Valastro appearing on a MasterChef episode. She has also appeared on tv, radio, magazines and newspaper both for her career in cakes and in wellness.
Her inspiration to embark on her career in events and hosting The Cake Boss in 2012 was a Perth radio station contacting Julia to fulfill the wish of a dying woman to watch someone in Perth making cakes like Buddy. Julia personally reached out to Buddy to organise a meeting for the woman on radio.
Julia’s most recent public appearance was on Nova 93.7 where she was interviewed about her career as a medium and read for the staff and Nathan, Nat and Shaun in May 2023.
Julia’s experience in her career also includes qualifications as an Accountant in corporate where she worked at KPMG, Perth’s largest mining consultancy and in the largest marine consultancy in WA. She then discovered her own passion as an entrepreneur to run her own businesses and to embrace her gifts as a psychic medium.
